Phyllis Quarles, a friend of many in the Harmony Kingdom community,
passed away in 2008.
In homage to her very special spirit, Peter carved “Quarles’ Reef”,
featuring some of her favorite subjects – seahorses, mermaids and ladybugs.
The first 500 pieces of this open edition have subdued coloration,
with 20% of proceeds going to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.
The names of her two Italian Greyhounds, Dino and Tony,
are inscribed on the lid. The inscription “500” refers to
the first 500 special subdued colorway pieces. “35” refers to the
number of seahorse species and the size of the largest (35 cm).
