During Peter’s 2009 “Summer of Love” signing tour,
he spotted a small wicker basket at the event host's store.
He knew it would look great in a carving, so he acquired two.
Upon Peter’s return to England, one was immediately devoured by
his terrier Bart, but the other served as a model for “Wicker & Whiskers”.
Three adorable kittens were added, along with a dead mouse in the interior.
Mount Dora, the location of the host’s shop, receives mention
on the lid. Also inscribed on the lid is “Borg”,
not in reference to the former #1 from Sweden but
meaning boy or girl.
2.25" wide, 2.25" long, 2.5" high.
As with any hand-tinted product,
item received will be similar but unique.
