The "Pony Minutiae" originated from wild horses that
developed small stature due to living on margins of suitable horse habitat.
The official definition is a member of
equus caballus measuring less than 14.2 hands (56.8 inches) at
the withers (ridge between shoulder blades).
However, term is often used affectionately for any small horse,
regardless of its actual size or breed.
A 2009 introduction, this little Pony measures
2.5" long, 1.15" wide and 2" tall, and comes with
a informative Trading Card and a Official Registration Card.
As with any hand-finished product,
unique variations should be expected.
